Introduction
This Automatic ASTM D445 Kinematic Viscometer is widely used to determine the kinematic viscosity and dynamic viscosity of Newtonian liquid petroleum products. The test principle is based on measuring the time required for a fixed volume of liquid to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature. The kinematic viscosity value is calculated by multiplying the capillary constant by the flow time at a specific temperature.
