The Transformer Oil BDV Tester is designed for measuring the breakdown voltage (BDV) of insulating oils in accordance with ASTM D877, GB/T 507 and IEC 60156 standards.
Introduction
Breakdown voltage testing is widely used to evaluate the insulating performance and condition monitoring of transformer oils and other insulating liquids. The presence of contaminants such as moisture, suspended particles, or aging by-products can significantly reduce the dielectric strength of insulating oils.
