The Automatic TAN Total Acid Number Titrator is designed for accurate determination of Total Acid Number (TAN) and Total Base Number (TBN) in petroleum products, lubricants, and oils using potentiometric titration.

Introduction
Total Acid Number represents the amount of alkaline reagent required to neutralize acidic components present in an oil sample, while Total Base Number indicates the alkaline reserve available to neutralize acidic contaminants generated during oil oxidation and degradation.
This Total Acid Number Titrator performs high-precision potentiometric titration in non-aqueous media and automatically determines the titration endpoint using a pH electrode system. The entire analysis procedure including titration control, endpoint detection, calculation, and result output is performed automatically.
