Automatic Interfacial Tension Tester
Automatic Interfacial Tension Tester
MT-IT408
The Automatic Interfacial Tension Tester is designed for precise determination of the surface tension and interfacial tension of liquids using the platinum ring method. The instrument is based on the traditional Du Noüy platinum ring principle, which has been widely used for more than 70 years for accurate surface and interfacial tension measurement.
Introduction
During the test, the platinum ring is immersed below the liquid surface or interface and then slowly lifted upward. The instrument measures the maximum force exerted by the liquid film on the platinum ring and converts it into the actual surface or interfacial tension value.
This Automatic Interfacial Tension Tester is suitable for measuring the tension properties of petroleum products, transformer oils, lubricants, surfactants, rubber dispersions, latex, and other liquid materials. It is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, power, railway, and research industries.
The instrument integrates automatic lifting platform, touchscreen operation, temperature compensation, data storage, and multiple testing methods, ensuring high precision, excellent repeatability, and convenient operation.
