The Automatic Interfacial Tensiometer is designed for precise determination of the surface tension and interfacial tension of liquids using the platinum ring method. Based on the classic Du Noüy platinum ring principle, the instrument measures the maximum force acting on the platinum ring as it is lifted through the liquid surface or liquid-liquid interface.

Introduction
The platinum ring method has been widely used for more than 70 years due to its reliability and accuracy in measuring surface and interfacial tension. During testing, the platinum ring is immersed 2–3 mm below the liquid surface or interface and then slowly raised. The liquid film exerts a downward force on the ring, and the maximum force is converted into the true surface or interfacial tension value.
This Automatic Interfacial Tensiometer is suitable for petroleum products, transformer oils, lubricants, surfactants, latex, and other liquid samples. It is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, power, railway, and research industries.
