Karl Fischer Coulometric Trace Moisture Analyzer
MT-MC806
Karl Fischer Coulometric Titration Method for water content analysis in liquid, solid, and gaseous samples, covering a range from 0.0001% (1 ppm) to 100%.
Introduction
Our Karl Fischer Coulometric Trace Moisture Analyzer adopts the classic moisture measurement method, the Karl Fischer Coulometric Titration, and can quickly analyze moisture content in liquid, solid, and gas samples within a range of 0.0001% (1ppm) to 100% in just one minute. It can automatically calculate the percentage, ppm mg/L values of moisture content, as well as automatically replace reagents, requiring no manual operation.
Test Principle
Our trace moisture analyzers operate on the Karl Fischer coulometric/volumetric titration method, where iodine reacts quantitatively with water in the presence of sulfur dioxide and a suitable solvent. The amount of iodine consumed is directly proportional to the water content of the sample, enabling accurate moisture determination.
Typical Applications
- Insulating oil and transformer oil
- Lubricating oils and hydraulic oils
- Fuels (diesel, gasoline, kerosene)
- Crude oil and petroleum products
- Chemical solvents and reagents
- Pharmaceuticals and raw materials
