The Fully Automatic Karl Fischer Moisture Analyzer are designed for precise determination of trace water content in petroleum products, insulating oils, lubricants, fuels, chemicals and other liquid or solid samples. Based on the Karl Fischer titration principle, this instrument provides high accuracy, excellent repeatability, and fully automated operation, making it ideal for laboratories, refineries, power plants, inspection agencies, and industrial quality control.

Test Principle

Our fully automatic Karl Fischer moisture analyzer operates on the Karl Fischer coulometric/volumetric titration method, where iodine reacts quantitatively with water in the presence of sulfur dioxide and a suitable solvent. The amount of iodine consumed is directly proportional to the water content of the sample, enabling accurate moisture determination.
